Our Story

 

Jim and I bought our first home in 1994 and, like so many Seattle homeowners, we found our new nest needed much care and improvement. Over a five year period we updated, repaired and remodeled, doing what we could ourselves, but mostly hiring independent contractors.

We found there was a real need for a personalized, local service that could connect Seattle homeowners with screened, quality contractors in the area. We loved the process of transforming our Seattle home and wanted to empower other local homeowners to find success in their home projects, as well.

Since opening our doors in January of 2005, business has blossomed steadily and we are happy to have (in April 2008) added a partner to the company. As Operations Manager and part owner, you’ll often find Dawn’s welcoming voice when you contact us. We’re looking forward to helping you with your next project.
